I guess this is also in progress, since there’s many characters that are missing… but this is mostly functional. It’s blocky, and works best in ONLY UPPERCASE or only lowercase. If you mix and match, it just looks weird. LOL

I have been testing FontStruct, so I began working on a pixel-based font that had the Katakana alphabet — sorry, no Hiragana yet. I still have to figure out stuff, but I felt really happy how this turned out for some of the characters used on the Spanish, French and Swedish languages.

So please, feel free to download. Though I haven’t manage to figure out why the Katakana won’t show on Photoshop. But everything else works! Feel free to use, and if you’ve got comments — Please, be kind xD

The Lucky One – 1st Stage

I feel like I haven’t used Corel Paint for like it feel forever~~~ No more than 6 months, but I feel like I’ve begun to forget, so I decided to do a little experiment to get me working on it again…

This time, I’ve made a sketch (mostly for guidance) of Shane and Molly (from Season 4 of The L Word). I really liked the song used on the scene, The Lucky One by Au Revoir Simone. I still don’t know what I want to do with it, maybe experiment with some styles… but that’s the 2nd Stage.

I wish this were a full-on drawing that I did, because I really like how it turned out, but sadly it’s a really low-resolution doodle done on Photoshop in 1hr.

One of my favorite actresses at the moment, Aoi Yu. If interested, I suggest watching Hana & Alice (Hana to ARISU), for a starring role… or All About Lily Chou-Chou (RIRI SHU-SHU no Subete), Welcome to the Quiet Room (KUWAIETTO RUUMU ni Youkoso), and Don’t Laugh at my Romance (Hito no SEKKUSU wo Warauna) for secondary roles…

I did a little mockup for EW.net – cleaning it up, and maybe a little bit of information architecture. Use a three-column structure, instead of a two-column layout which stretches the loading page a lot.

Pay It Forward Project – Web Mockup

I found the Pay It Forward Project group on the web, and offer my services to re-brand and re-design their website. After re-branding, I came up with a modern, simple, clean design mockup that could let the owners of the organization do their own updating, similar to a blog.

The full idea was to keep the same content so older users knew what the site had, but tidy up everything from the look, to the layout of the project so new visitors weren’t overwelmed. The new design would also connect pages withing the website much better.
